Materials
There are a variety of building materials on the market today designed specifically for decks. The most common building material is pressure treated pine. The industry has designed a variety of different composite materials for decking and railing, but the structural frame of all decks must be a weather resistant wood. Composite material doesn't have the strength of wood and could not meet the building requirements needed to support a deck. The structural frame of all the decks we build will be pressure treated pine. Currently we install Trex, TimberTech, Fiberon, and Azek
